Dog Day

Okey dokey, it's Saturday morning and I have to leave for Agility class in about an hour. I'm only SLIGHTLY freaked because I have to teach the whole class this morning (I usually assist, and then teach one-on-one as needed), but luckily found out last night that I will have two assistants to back me up.

My Little-White-Willow-Bear-Coconut-Puddin'-Head (my 80-lb white german shepherd) has been sick the past few days, she's not happy that I'm planning on going to go "play" with other dogs. I haven't told her that I'm also going to the Johnston County Animal Shelter Open House, and possibly bringing my Mini-Aussie, or my Collie.

*sigh* I'm stalling. I need to be taking some notes on the lesson plan for class, since I'm a computer professional who doesn't own a printer (have I mentioned that I hate computers?).

Comments:
Ah, the strange little turns of fate. A computer expert who can't do printing. An elf who wants to be a dentist. Tale as old as time. ;)

Hermie! Tho now I have the theme to "Beauty and the Beast" in my head. Thanks a lot, Melonie! ;)

Now isn't that interesting. I actually spent 4 years of my life in Dundee, when I was in my early twenties, wouldn't it be freaky, if a little unlikely, that I knew your guy!

Did you spend much time in Dundee, cos quite honestly it wasn't the best place I ever lived. There are some much more beautiful places on the west coast of the country generally speaking.

I know that the UK are getting much more relaxed about dogs and pets generally. They still need certification, but I think you can actually gets dogs in on a doggie "passport". Where you take your dog to the vet before leaving your country, get him/her checked out and certified and it shortens the quarantine pretty significantly. I am not sure it applies to the US, but certainly they have done it for Europe.

Maybe that might be the best way if too, cos Europe is much more relaxed, you could probably go there, spend maybe a month, get the dog certified, and then move on to the UK?

So are you new to this blogging thing?
