Father's Day Card
I went to the store to pick up a Father's Day Card the other day... the first one I picked up had Garfield on it.
It's a picture of an enthusiastic Garfield, saying "You're my dad, and you'll ALWAYS be my dad."
Open up and says "Just wanted you to know your job is secure."
I CRACKED UP when I read it, since my job future has always been so iffy ... and when I went home to St.Louis, that's what everyone kept asking me about ... I laughed so loudly that I startled two other ladies looking at cards in the same aisle. I smiled at them and said "Sometimes just the right card jumps out at ya, doesnt it?"
Life is amusing. d:)

Even though you clearly said Garfiled, twice, I had it in my head that it was Odie saying this.. And panting and slobering about. Had a picture of your dad getting eagerily slobbered on by Odie.. Must be something in the air... *grin*
